Upcoming Events

Please make sure to take note of some upcoming school events and important dates.  Make sure to have all signed permission slips and field trip money turned in by Friday, March 28th.  

The Richmond Flying Squirrels "Go Nuts for Reading" bookmark is also due Friday to earn a ticket to a Flying Squirrels game!  

The yellow lunch count form for Buddy Field Day is due Friday, March 28th.  Please sign up to volunteer for this wonderful event.  

If you would like to purchase a class picture, please send a check for $11.00 made payable to Lifetouch.  The pictures turned out adorable!

Last but not least, a Scholastic Seesaw flyer went home with students earlier this week.  If you would like to make a purchase, please have orders to me by April 18th.  You can send your order to school or order online!  

Dr. Seuss Week!

We had so much fun celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday!  We kicked our week off with lots of stripes.  We made cat hats with rhyming words and then created silly sentences.

The next day we wore green in honor of The Lorax.  He speaks for the trees.  We are working on parts of numbers.  Here we are during math working on parts of the number six.  Check out our green!

The next day we dressed up as our favorite Dr. Seuss character.  We had green eggs and ham along with some Seuss Juice.  We had lots of activities during our day that surrounded these events including a green eggs and ham graph!  We also used our five senses to write about our Seuss Juice!
